Renewed Open Access policy at WUR
On 12 October 2020, the Executive Board updated the WUR Open Access policy. All WUR authors are either required or encouraged to publish all types of scientific work Open Access whenever possible.
The Executive Board of Wageningen University & Research has decided to adopt the refined WUR Open Access publication policy. This has consequences for various publication options.
Refereed articles
Open Access publishing is required when you as WUR employee
- are the corresponding author;
- are the author of an article funded by a research funder requiring Open Access. Funder requirements take precedence over the WUR Open Access policy.
Open Access publishing is encouraged if you are a non-corresponding author.
Please consult the WUR Journal Browser to select a suitable journal to publish your article Open access.
Conference publications and PhD theses
