Documentary about WUR 100 years including Special Collections
TV Gelderland made a documentary about the celebration of the 100th anniversary of Wageningen University & Research. They also made footage in the reading room of Special Collections. The documentary will be broadcasted on 15 January at 5.20 pm.
The Library joined the festivities in 2018 with several activities. We wrote blogs on various topics, entitled Celebrating 100 years WUR and the Library organised small exhibitions on special chosen themes.
Special Collections organised two exhibitions Drawn by Wageningen, on display on the second and third floor of the Forum Library, and Science meets art in the reading room of Special Collections. Both exhibition show the diversity of WUR's academic heritage.
Drawings and designs on the three centennial themes, Life, Earth and Food, were displayed.
Both exhibitions are still on display.
