I am a PhD candidate in the Development Economics Group at Wageningen University, Netherlands, and Researcher at the Center for Disease Dynamics, Economics and Policy (CDDEP), Washington DC. My research fields are health economics, development economics, and applied microeconomics. I am on the 2021-22 job market.

My research primarily focuses on how low- and middle-income countries can improve child and maternal health outcomes through more efficient and equitable redistribution of public resources. My job market paper estimates the long term effects of child immunization on wages, expenditure, and household occupation choice in India.

Developing countries face a wide breadth of health challenges that are compounded by economic uncertainty and climate change. I have worked on a range of these topics and have published in the areas child vaccination, fiscal policy taxation for health, costing of government health programs, the COVID-19 pandemic, and food safety.
