R&D Manager BioconversionChris leads the Boconversion team at WFBR He earned his MsC and PhD in organic chemistry at the Radbouwd University of Nijmegen. Following this he had various roles in industry, mainly with the former GE Plastics (Sabic) in product- and process development of engineering plastics and silicones, as a scientist as well as a manager. Besides that he was plant manager and played a role in the leadership team for the integration of the GE-Bayer Silicones JV (presently Momentive). After that he was CEO of the PLA startup Hycail BV and COO of Polyganics (biodegradable medical implants) and independent consultant till he accepted his present role at WUR
