Dr. Confidence Duku is a Geospatial Data Scientist and currently works as a Research Scientist at Wageningen Environmental Research and a postdoctoral research fellow at Environmental Systems Analysis group of Wageningen University. His research interests include the climate-water-food-ecosystem nexus; big data for food security and ecosystem protection; ecosystem services assessment and natural capital accounting; development of tools to facilitate outscaling and targeting of best-fit crop production technologies in Africa.
Confidence holds a doctorate degree from Wageningen University and a masters degree in GIS & Environmental Modelling from the University of Hull, UK. Previously, he worked as a GIS & Environmental Modelling Specialist with the Africa Rice Center in Benin, which is one of the 15 centers that make up the Consultative Group for International Agricultural Research (CGIAR).
