DLO OnderzoekerI am an experienced researcher in the field of eating behaviour and sensory science. I have completed my PhD in 2012, where I focussed on salt taste perception in relation to food intake (Division of Human Nutrition, Food Quality and Design, Wageningen University). After that, I extended my expertise to fat (taste) perception in relation to food intake behaviour at Deakin University, Australia (2014-2016). From 2016-2023, I have worked at the Food Quality and Design group of Wageningen University as a teacher (UTQ in 2023) and researcher. My latest research focusses on exploring how food texture can moderate eating rate and energy intake. Since mid 2023 I work as a researcher Sensory Perception at WFBR.
