Ilse Evers (MSc) is a PhD candidate at the Department of Human Nutrition & Health and works as a project reseracher at the Alliance Nutrition in Health Care. She obtained both her BSc as well as her MSc degree in Wageningen. During her master she expanded her knowledge by following six months of lectures in movement sciences at the University of Southern Denmark. During her internship she was involved in the intervention study FoodB4Surgery at Radboud University Medical Centre. Her thesis was about the association between the Dutch guidelines for a healthy diet and quality of life in people with Multiple Sclerosis.

Before she started as a PhD candidate, she worked as a research and teaching assistant for, among other things, the COLON study and courses within the chairgroup of Nutrition and Diseases.

In January 2020 she started as a researcher at the Alliance Nutrition in Health Care, where she is setting up the 'Voed je Beter' project. In addition, she started her PhD project in July 2020, in which she will further investigate the relationship between nutrition and cardiovascular diseases.
