Karianne de Bruin is a researcher at the Climate Change team of Wageningen Environmental Research. She is an environmental economist, with over 13 years of experience in research, project management and tailored support in the field of adaptation economics, decision-making under uncertainty and climate services. She is involved in a European initiative on the development of tailored information tools on physical climate risk for financial decision makers. One day a week she works as a senior researcher for the Climate Impact Team of the Center for International Climate and Environmental Research-Oslo (CICERO), in Oslo, Norway.
