René Schils is an experienced researcher and consultant at Wageningen UR. He is author of peer reviewed papers on nutrient cycling in agricultural systems, legumes, grassland management, fertilizer and manure use, nitrogen and phosphorus efficiency, and greenhouse gas emissions. René has a special interest in popular science which goes beyond agriculture. He writes articles for Dutch science magazines and is author of 'How James Watt invented the copier'.
