Robert is involved in the new ‘TRANSGOV’ research project, under Prof. Dr. Aarti Gupta. At the ENP, he investigates the assumed potential of transparency in bringing about clarity on climate finance provided and received in the reporting and review mechanisms of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. He also examines the entanglement of digitally-enabled 'radical transparency' with novel parametric climate risk insurance initatives in the context of new approaches to adaptation and Loss & Damage finance.
In addition to Aarti Gupta, he collaborates with Ina Möller, Sanneke Kloppenburg and Max van Deursen under the TRANSGOV project.
