VA (Vera) Felix da Graca Silva MSc
PhD student/ResearcherVera Silva started her PhD in 2015, on soil pollution by pesticide residues, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Violette Geissen and Prof. Dr. Coen Ritsema in the Soil Physics and Land Management (SLM) group. Since 2019 she is working as a researcher in SLM and as project scientific manager of the H2020SPRINT project (Sustainable plant protection A global health approach). In 2020 she got involved in the monitoring of pesticide residues in EU and African soils (via the LUCAS 2018 survey, and the H2020 Soils4Africa project, respectively). Recently she joined the WU soil cluster, co-leading the ‘Nutrient cycling and contaminant mitigation’ research line.
