Over the last 30 years, the University has become an important centre for research and development in the region.  Johan Verreth is long-standing member and head of the Scientific Advisory / International Board of the Faculty of Fisheries and Protection of Waters of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice and the South Bohemian Research Center of Aquaculture and Biodiversity of Hydrocenoses (IBFC). Quite a mouthful indeed.

Last week 26th November, Johan Verreth was awarded a honorary doctor degree at the University of South Bohemia. In person!

Congratulations!!!
