During the ‘Animal Health’ virtual pre-conference of the World Mycotoxin Forum (WMF), Vivi Koletsi was selected among the three young scientists to present a pitch and received the young scientist Pitch Award.

She presented recent findings from her PhD project including a survey on the mycotoxin contamination in feed ingredients and fish feeds, a meta-analysis on the impact of a frequent mycotoxin, called Deoxynivalenol (DON) on fish productivity and results from an in-vivo experiment using rainbow trout as a model species. More information on the published work can be found here. As a winner of the pitch award, Vivi will get the opportunity to give an oral presentation during the offline conference of WMF in Parma, Italy in May 2022.
