Facilitating marine life at windfarms in the North Sea
Fishing is not allowed in offshore windfarms in the North Sea. Therefore, these areas are seen as an excellent opportunity to bring back some of the original flora and fauna. The NOS recently broadcasted an item on actively bringing back oyster reefs to the North Sea windfarms, and Prof Tinka Murk was also interviewed.
