Project of Dr. Lisa Becking in the spotlight: Tourism and nature conservation in tropical areas
The project of Dr. Lisa Becking and colleagues entitled Resilience of the Richest Reefs received special attention last weekend both from the WUR and the Dutch newspaper NRC. The project focusses on developing a method to balance tourism and conservation in coral reefs in tropical areas: the Dutch Caribbean and South-East Asia.
