Ute Sass-Klaassen Nominee Teacher of the Year Award 2013

December 2012, the election for the Teacher of the Year Award 2013 took place. This year, 1,445 students cast their votes (26.31%). For the first time the students voted on all teachers (1088) from Wageningen University. Ute Sass-Klaassen is one of the nominees.

From the total voting list, a long list was composed with 16 teachers who received most of the votes (absolute and relative). All 16 candidates were then interviewed by the student jury. On 14th December, the jury meeting took place and five nominees are selected.

The jury is proud to announce the following five nominees (in random order) who have the chance to become the new Teacher of the Year Award 2013:
• Ute Sass- Klaassen
• André van Lammeren
• Huub Savelkoul
• Dolf Weijers
• Ljiljana Rodic-Wiersma

The winner will be announced during the official Award Ceremony of the Teacher of the Year Award which will take place at the New Year’s Reception of the Student Council on Tuesday 15th January from 17.15 hrs at the Forum building. We look forward to welcoming all students and teachers at the Award Ceremony on 15th January at the Forum building.
