OpenEO Test-Hackathon
Wageningen University & Research are co-organizing a Hackathon and User Requirement Workshop, on 25-26 June in Vienna, Austria, related to the openEO project of which GRS is one of the partners.
openEO aims to develop a solution that provides access to cloud computing platforms with available data (back-ends) to users via bindings for various programming languages (front-ends). This will make it easier to access and analyze earth observation (satellite) data, and also makes results more comparable and reproducible.
Hackathon participants will work in teams on test cases using the openEO framework and therefore have the opportunity to get first-hand insights on openEO. Valuable feedback from these users will be used as input into future openEO applications.
