Exposition 'Countryside, The Future' in the Guggenheim museum
On 20 February 2020 the exposition 'Countryside, The Future' has started in the Guggenheim museum in New York.
One of the many contributions from WUR are images and information on pixel cropping.
The Centre Crop Systems Analysis has contributed to this part of the exposition by providing the visual output of 3D simulations of pixel cropping fields. The simulations show the development of a pixel crop field over time, with the different patches in the field containing different plant species as the season progresses.
'Countryside, The Future' runs until 14 August 2020. For details see the website of the Guggenheim museum.
