Tomatoes with high-tech doppelgängers
The digital-twin project 'Virtual Tomato Crops' is now approximately half way. In an interview Jochem Evers (project lead CSA) and Willem-Jan Knibbe (Director Wageningen Data Competence Center) explain the purposes and promises of the application of digital twins in horticulture. In the accompanying video, Katarina Streit of CSA and Sjoerd Boersma of FTE discuss the progress of developing the tomato digital twin.
