Research Seminars
The research seminars started in the academic year of 2018-2019. They are meant as a place for collaboration, to help people to do rigorous and relevant research. At the research seminars, our students and researchers come together to learn about and to help develop ideas. The research seminars are being developed as well by us, to ensure that research excellence is achieved.
The research seminars are weekly held, every Thursday at 12:00.
They aim to:
- Create conditions to develop latest research breakthroughs, industry collaborations and strategic initiatives around themes of interest of our department.
- To connect our faculty with outstanding international scholars from the Management studies field. Scholars from top universities are invited to present their latest research and to discuss the current trends and developments in all major areas of management research.
- Help our faculty and PhD students to keep track of the recent theoretical and methodological developments in the management community and to both seek and receive early feedback on their own management research.
• The seminars are sometimes open to all WUR faculties and students.
From time to time a researchers breakfast is held. Combined with the research seminar, it is a place where junior researchers can ask for input for their research. This is vital for the role we see for the research seminars. They are a place for learning and growing in synergy, in collaboration with eachother.
