New HSO member: Karin van Ommen-Schneider
Karin: "As from February 2018 I work as a secretary for the chairs HSO and SCH. Together with my colleague Louise Palm I am responsible for a various amount of secretarial/administrative tasks. I am really excited to be part of both chairs and I look forward to a successful collaboration!
During my career I have been working at several research companies in Wageningen.
Over the years I gained a lot of secretarial experience and kept on developing my skills.
The different elements of working as a secretary makes my job very satisfying.
Next to my job at the university I sew clothes for children in the age of 2-8. By using sustainable materials and only producing on order I am happy to contribute to a more sustainable world.
I am also married and a mother of twins, so I do not have a lot of spare time. But when I do, I like to watch several series on Netflix or spend it with friends/family."
