The main aim of this course is to prepare students for situations in a management or research position where they are required to communicate on a professional level with ICT specialists, information managers, and executives regarding challenges and opportunities offered by ICT developments. The course attunes with the role of information in the daily life of a consumer.
The course also aims to raise awareness of information needs, types of information, communication processes, jargon, needs for ICT infra structures and information services. Specific attention is devoted to the role of information and ICT in the context of managing an enterprise or supply chain and how effective and efficient use of information services can lead to the development of innovative business models.
