The CPT-Wass Seminar African Philosophy and knowledge diversity in international development was a great success, with more than a hundred participants!

Birgit Boogaard, David Ludwig and Leon Pijnenburg had organised it and were able, with the help of WASS, to invite two African philosophers: Pius Mosima (from University of Bamenda, Cameroon) and Wilfred Lajul (from Makerere University, Uganda). They, joined by David Ludwig, held a talk about African philosophy in general, about Western and African knowledge systems and about the epistemic injustice that characterises the relation between these knowledge systems. Cees Leeuwis was so kind to close the exciting meeting. Below a picture of the final QA session with the invited speakers and the organisers.
