Wageningen Centre of Governance

The Wageningen Centre of Governance (WCG) brings together a diverse array of scholars across Wageningen University with a shared interest in analyzing, evaluating and contributing to reform of multi-level and multi-actor governance arrangements. Governance is an ever more popular concept, one that captures diverse attempts at steering the actions of public institutions, companies, citizens, consumers and expert organizations in furthering societal aims, whether relating to climate change, a transition to sustainability, rural and urban development, spatial planning or sustainable resource use.

WCG members have (inter-) disciplinary backgrounds in sociology, policy studies, public administration, political science, law and forestry, among others.
