What’s the impact of the war in Ukraine on food security in fragile countries? How can humanitarian and development organisations best act upon this? There’s an urgent need to better understand the potential impacts of the Russian war in Ukraine on food security in fragile, low-income countries.

That’s why Wageningen Centre for Development Innovation, KUNO and the Netherlands Food Partnership, in cooperation with several partners in the humanitarian and development sector, developed four scenarios to provide insights in the possible implications of the war in Ukraine on their work. The scenarios study highlights the impact of the war on farmers, consumers and policy makers in low and middle income countries on the one hand, and humanitarian and development organisations on the other hand. You can find the full scenarios study as a PDF linked to this webpage.
