Measuring and detecting substances

One of the most important tasks of Wageningen Food Safety Research is measuring and detecting substances in food. This mainly concerns substances that may have possible negative effects on humans and animals. In this way we make an important contribution to safe food.

Wageningen Food Safety Research works on behalf of the government, but also for NGOs and business.

Analytical methods

We have a whole range of analytical methods with which we can measure and trace numerous of substances in food and feed. We also develop new methods to analyze even more substances better and faster.
