Feed database

Chemicals from anthropogenic and natural origins enter animal feed as undesirable contaminant or components of a diet.

Chemicals in animal feed

These substances can have potential adverse effects on health and productivity of farm animals. In order to answer questions about the transfer from chemicals in feed into the animal itself it is necessary to gain insight into the compilation of animal feed of a certain farm animal species.

Compulation animal feed, growths curves and intake

Therefore this database was developed. Next to data about the compilation about animal feed, growths curves and daily feed intake of swine, and various chicken and cattle breeds are implemented. In the growths curves data points from selected reference values (EFSA, OECD) are included.
