Always wanted to join the course ‘Validation of Chemical Methods for Residue Analysis’? But didn’t have the time to travel to the Netherlands? Good news. This spring, Wageningen Food Safety Research and Wageningen Academy will organize the first online edition.

From onsite to online

The onsite Validation of Chemical Methods course is redeveloped to an online course. The online course will start on March 7, 2022. During a 6 week period, you will be offered an attractive mix of live online sessions and self-study activities. The study load will be 32 hours in total.

Bring your own case study

The course is a perfect combination of theoretical knowledge and practical relevance. All participants in this course are invited to bring their own validation case study to apply all newly gained knowledge to their own laboratory practice.

In this course we first teach you all the fundamental knowledge required. Next, you’ll go through all stages of a validation in a hands-on fashion. This includes constructing a validation plan with criteria for performance characteristics and a practical design of experiments, calculating the method performance characteristics from your data, assessing your validation outcomes and preparing a validation report.
