More plastic in Pacific Ocean than expected
There is more plastic floating around in the oceans as scientists had previously thought. The Ocean Cleanup comes with a new estimate of 80.000 tons floating in the Pacific Ocean, which is four times more than the highest estimations so far. In a radio interview, Prof. Tinka Murk discusses the issue with NPO1.
