Weekend in Aberdeen
After a succeful day on Friday with plankton stations and a last pelagic trawl we set off to Aberdeen harbour for the weekend break.
However when we arrived at the harbour buoy at 2030 we were told we might be able to get in before midnight! A bit frustrating at the least! Luckily there was a nice show of birds, dolphins and whales to be seen.
In the end we were allowed in and docked in Aberdeen at 2300. It was a short weekend since we will be leaving early this afternoon for the last week of our mackerel egg survey.
