INF’s Tarek Alskaif joins the editorial board of e-Prime

Recently, Tarek Alskaif signed a contract to become an associate editor for the Elsevier journal e-Prime. This is an open-access journal that targets papers from all areas of electrical engineering and energy systems. Tarek Alskaif’s specific role in the editorial team is to strengthen the focus of the journal and handle papers on energy informatics, smart grids, blockchain technology, and applications of AI to renewable energy integration and management.

Tarek Alskaif is an Assisant Professor at the Information Technology group (INF). Tarek is passionate about Sustainability and the Energy Transition and believes in the key role of Digitalization in enabling that. His research interest is focused on problems related to smart grids and smart cities, including smart energy systems design, local energy communities, solar energy forecasting, smart integration of electric vehicles, among others, all with an emphasis on using ICT platforms, modeling, data analytics and AI.

If you have a submission for the e-Prime journal, you can contact the journal. Until the 30th of June 2022, the journal will waive the APC (Article Publishing Charge). This will be applicable for any submissions received before this date, which are accepted for publication after peer review.
