Less nitrogen, more biodiversity, less CO2 emissions. Farmers do a lot to become more sustainable but so far their investments do not have a high return at all. Why does the Dutch government do so little to stimulate a more sustainable food system?
The government has to take more action. There is enough knowledge about sustainability, but hardly anything is actually done to stimulate this process
