Do you want to bring your research to a wide public? The Lira Fund now offers four grants of €37,500 to write a Dutch, non-fiction book about your research for a broad public. Interested scientists can apply (individually or as a pair) before 1 July 2022.

Bring your science to a broad public

The Lira Fund offers researchers the opportunity to write a book in Dutch to share their research with a wide audience. The book should take an original approach and has to be understandable for a broad public that is not familiar with the topic.

2021 grant to Lisa Becking

When the grant first opened in 2021, more than 40 researchers applied. WUR Associate Professor of Tropical Marine Biodiversity, Lisa Becking then received the Lira grant for a book on marine biodiversity and nature conservation.
