Entrepreneurship at WUR
Bringing value to knowledge is the primary motivation for Wageningen students and WUR staff. WUR fosters and facilitates (potential) entrepreneurship in various ways. This is something we don’t do in isolation, but in collaboration with hands-on experts, businesses, investors and legal and financial advisors. Thus, together we add societal value to our expertise and technology.
Entrepreneurship education
Bringing knowledge to value is the motivation of many entrepreneurial Wageningen students. WU offers a BSc minor and an MSc track to further develop your entrepreneurial mind-set during your studies. In addition, all students (BSc, MSc and PhD) can take separate courses and the StartHub offers extra-curricular courses and activities.
Student Startups
To entrepreneurial students and recent graduates, WUR offers information on starting a business, incubator facilities and an extensive network of experts and research institutions to collaborate on an idea or concept. But is the idea really yours in order to market? Who decides what happens to your internship or project result? With whom to share profits, if any? In other words, who owns the intellectual property rights (IPR)?
WUR Spin-offs
