A look back on Data Science Week
The first edition of the WUR Data Science Week 2020 focussed on the topic Data Science in action. The programme spanned an entire week, offering a large number of interactive meetings ranging from crash courses to a FAIR data sprint where ideas were exchanged on new technologies and their impact and application possibilities. Participants were able to select the themes and days of their choice.
Numerous speakers shared their views on Data Science on Wednesday morning. Trade and industry representatives and researchers met through poster pitches, and there were debates on the documentary Data Science Pioneers. Attendants could also participate in the Smart Agri Hubs workshop. The international ISESS congress was embedded in the programme as was the National Coordination Point Research Data Management (LCRDM).
