Use case

DATA FAIR

The exchange of agri-food data between different platforms often stagnates due to discussions about ownership of this data, privacy and concentration of power in the chain. The DATA-FAIR project tries to make a breakthrough in these hurdles. The initiative consists of organising large-scale trial with businesses, where applications are developed and data is being shared between different platforms. The agricultural entrepreneur plays a central role and defines under which conditions this data is made available.

DATA FAIR connects existing platforms using existing building blocks, therefore a new platform is not created. Several examples are APIs and expansion based on existing data hubs.
