World Wide Wageningen Alumni Reunion
Saturday 23 June 2018 WUR celebrated its 100th anniversary with the World Wide Wageningen Alumni Reunion. All over the world, alumni met with each other to recollect memories and exchange experiences. We are still very proud of the official opening of the alumniday by His Majesty King Willem-Alexander on Wageningen Campus. The alumniday was from 13.00 to 21.00 hrs.
Wageningen Campus was transformed into a festival area, with an Innovation Square, Food Square and Meet & Greet Square. During the day there there were tours around Campus Wageningen, there was live music and you could walk by the 1918 - 2018 Alumni Memory Lane. Inspirational lectures were given by alumni and researchers and an online WURld dialogue could be followed about nutrition in megacities. You were able to fill your day according to your own wishes, by choosing your favourite lectures and the great variety of activities.
