With her movie talk, prof. dr. ir. Louise O. Fresco opens the third CineScience season. She chose the heartwarming tragicomedy Kitchen Stories in which the relationship between a researcher and his object, a single Norwegian man, takes interesting turns during a participatory research. Food (and drinks) certainly play an important role. The film alludes to the impossibility of neutrality of research in relationships between people, which, just as in the film, must be interpreted in a political sense.
