CineScience movie talk: Midnight in Paris

With her movie talk, dr. Marian Stuiver dives into the challenges of the cities of the future. As 70% of the world’s population will be living in cities by 2050, we need to rethink our concept of what is a perfect living environment for all these urban dwellers. This Oscar winning comedy by Woody Allen takes you on a trip to the “perfect” Paris of the past. When a screenwriter finds himself mysteriously going back to the 1920s when he walks around the streets of Paris at midnight, he gets closer to the heart of the city – but further from the women he’s about to marry.
