Crash course on WU Education: Governance, Policy and Organisation

This course gives students an opportunity to empower themselves in their function as member of a Programme Committee (PC) of Wageningen University. It is also instructive for members of other governing bodies.

Four items will be addressed:

• governance and organisation of the education of Wageningen University;
• funding of courses and other financial matters related to education;
• main agenda items of PC’s: the Education Modification Cycle, Education and Examination Regulations and the system of Quality Assurance and Enhancement of education;
• tasks, responsibilities and authorities of a PC and its members in relation to the Programme board.

Lecturer: Prof.dr.ir. Arnold Bregt, Dean of Education

The course will be given in English (unless only Dutch speaking persons are present).
