WUR is partner of the Embassy of Sustainable Design, one of six embassies of the Dutch Design Week 2019. The exhibition engages you with the perspective of bioeconomy and the range of possibilities for product development. The exhibition is part of the EU Horizon2020 project BLOOM. BLOOM focuses on Boosting European Citizens' Knowledge and Awareness of Bio-Economy Research and Innovation. The project aims to boost European citizens’ knowledge and awareness of bioeconomy research and innovation – an economy based on biomass promises to foster a circular economy and enhance climate mitigation, while reducing dependence on fossil fuels.
