Biographies

Anna Fedorova is one of the world's premier young pianists. From an early age, she demonstrated a natural musical maturity and outstanding technical abilities. Her international concert career took off while she was only a child and audiences around the world were stunned by the depth and power of her musical expression. Critics have praised Anna's signature "sweet modesty and wild expression", which left listeners "completely taken by surprise, compelled and astonished". At more than 14 million views, Anna's live recording of the Rachmaninoff 2nd Piano Concerto in the Royal Concertgebouw has become the most watched classical concerto on YouTube and is highly praised by many renowned musicians. Being the face of the Sunday morning series in season 2017/18, she returns there annually to perform with orchestras with live streaming on the Dutch classical music channel AvroTros. In 2015-2016 Anna was the artist in residence in the Edesche Concert Hall in Ede, the Netherlands. The collaboration continued when in May 2017 she became the artistic director and co-founder of the International Chamber Music Festival, Ede.

Dana Zemtsov is one of the most promising international viola soloists of her generation. Highlights in the past seasons include Dana´s performance of the Bartok Viola Concerto in the Main Hall of the Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), playing chamber music with Janine Jansen and Martin Frost during the Utrecht Chamber Music Festival, and a recital in Carnegie Hall (New York). Dana is 1st Prize laureate of several competitions in Luxembourg, Italy, Austria, Germany, Portugal and the Netherlands. Dana is regularly appearing on the most important international stages, amongst others the Royal Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), De Doelen (Rotterdam), St. Petersburg Philharmonic Hall, The Opera Hall in Tel Aviv, Carnegie Hall (New York). Dana was born in 1992 in Mexico City. At the age of 5 she received her first music lessons from her grandmother and her parents, both viola players (Mikhail Zemtsov and Julia Dinerstein). She has followed master classes with renowned professors such as Bruno Giuranna, Atar Arad and Sven Arne Tepl, and is currently studying with the famous viola virtuoso Michael Kugel.

Hoboist Jeroen Soors (1984) has completed his music studies at the Royal Conservatory in Antwerp with Luk Nielandt. Later he specialized further, with the help of Erasmus and Rotary scholarships, with Thomas Indermühle in Karlsruhe and with Jacques Tys and David Walter in Paris. As a student he was a member of the European Youth Orchestra and the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester, with whom he played concerts in the most renowned concert halls of Europe, Asia and South America. As a chamber musician he played at various festivals, such as the Zermatt Music Festival and the Aurora Chamber Music Festival. After being hired as a solo-oboist at Het Gelders Orkest in Arnhem (2008), the Radio Chamber Philharmonic in Hilversum (2010) and the Residentie Orkest in The Hague, he was appointed as a solo-oboist in Amsterdam with the Nederlands Philharmonisch Orkest and Dutch Chamber orchestra. In April 2018 Jeroen Soors will perform as a soloist in Bach's Double Concerto at the Concertgebouw Amsterdam. Since September 2017 he has been a lecturer at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague.
