We would like to draw your attention to the second edition of the Springschool course “Host-microbe interactomics” which will be held June 2-4. The course is especially attractive for your PhD students and postdocs who would like to broaden their horizons about evolution and ecology of interactions between organisms, and learn new techniques such as genome editing. The organizing team consists of Stan Brouns (Microbiology), Peter van Baarlen (Host Microbe Interactomics) Jos Raaijmakers (NIOO) and myself.
It will be an intensive 3-days course (0.9 ECTS) comprising a large variety of lectures by international experts on various scientific aspects of host-microbe interactions, explained at the PhD level (please see below for a program). Presentations (oral or poster) of PhD students and Postdocs are an integral and important component of the Spring School program. There will be ample time for reflection and discussions. The topics covered during the course include fungi, bacteria, viruses and their interactions with plants, amphibians, worms, fish, and humans.

Registration is possible until the 1st of May 2014.
