Scaling has become a popular concept in research in recent years. Many of us have probably used the term in our proposals or articles, but what do we really know about its science and practice?

Join the Food Systems Think Tank on 31 January (15:30 to 17:00) in Impulse to learn more about scaling and reflect on its practice. Seerp Wigboldus (CDI) will introduce us to the science of scaling and challenge our thinking about scaling. After Seerp’s presentation, we will discuss our insights and reflect on our work.

The Food Systems Think Tank is an informal group of researchers (and interested students) that meets once every two months to explore and discuss different aspects of food systems research. Contact persons are Linda Veldhuizen (Plant Sciences), Raffaele Vignola (Environmental Policy), Mequanint Melesse (Development Economics) and Daniel Mekonnen (Economic Research).
