The Embassy of the Kingdom of The Netherlands (EKN) cordially invites you to join the ENLBA / Holland Alumni Networking Reception on Friday evening 8 December 2017 from 6PM until 8PM at the Holland Embassy compound (Torhailoch, Addis Ababa).

The Holland Alumni Network in Ethiopia (HANET) consists of both Ethiopian, Dutch and international alumni that have gotten a BSc, MSc or PhD degree in the Netherlands and/or have done a short course in one of the Universities in the Netherlands. All of these alumni have used their educational background in one way or another to contribute to the development of Ethiopia. HANET strives to connect these alumni to the EKN and Dutch public, private and civil society actors working in Ethiopia to strengthen the relationship and increase knowledge and intercultural exchange between Ethiopia and The Netherlands.

Reception

One of the ways to ensure that linkages across the two countries are made is through this reception, which is a joint effort of the EKN, Ethiopian-Netherlands Business Association (ENLBA), HANET and the Wageningen Alumni Network. The purpose of this ENLBA/Holland Alumni Network(ing) Reception is:

• To provide a platform for Holland Alumni and Dutch public, private and civil society actors to link up with professionals relevant for their area of work and to exchange experiences, expertise, etc.

• To provide the opportunity for Holland Alumni and Dutch actors to promote themselves, their services, products and/or ask for collaboration through 1-minute pitches and exhibition stands

• To introduce HANET (and its sub-network: WUR Alumni Network) in Ethiopia to the Dutch public, private and civil society actors and find ways in which these actors could provide support to and benefit from HANET.
