Hanneke Rouw & Masha Galperina
A beautiful lunch concert with Hanneke Rouw, cello and Masha Galperina on the grand piano. They play music by Beethoven (Cello Sonata 2, Op. 5 No. 2, G minor) and Lalo (Cello Sonata in A minor)

Hanneke Rouw starts playing the cello at the age of eight. At sixteen she played solo with the Youth String Orchestra Constantijn (now the Britten). In the same year she won an honorable mention at the Princess Christina Competition. Hanneke studied with Martijn Vink at the Luca School of Arts in Leuven. Hanneke plays on a German cello (early 20th century). This was made possible by the Prince Bernhard Cultuurfonds and the Eigen Muziekinstrument Foundation.

Masha Galperina (1989) St. Petersburg, Russia. She took piano lessons from the age of six until she moved to the Netherlands in 2002. In 2012, she graduated from the ArtEZ Conservatory in Zwolle with a 9.5 with distinction. Masha has several prizes to her name, including three times the 1st prize at the Princess Christina Competition East. For her final exam, Masha receives the Vriendenprijs from the Friends of ArtEZ foundation for the best final exam presentation.
