Join us at the first Wageningen Data Science Meet-up, organised by WUR, made possible by Campus Connect Cafe. WUR, amongst others, is putting effort in educating future data scientist for the agricultural (ag) sector.

During this first meetup, we will invite you to learn and discuss about: What skills, competencies and knowledge should this future data scientists have? How can successful data scientists become or stay interested in working in the ag sector? What implications will this have for the educational system? Is WUR on the right way?

Two guest speakers will talk about their experience with data science in agri-food companies. WUR present the plans to educate students in data science, and conclude with a discussion on challenges to educate data scientists.
