KNM - film 'Dark Waters' - 26 November 2021
On Friday 26 November, KNM organizes a special presentation of the film Dark Waters about PFAS in Filmhuis Movie W with a reflection by Dr Nico van den Brink (WUR) and discussion.
About the movie
The societal impact of the presence of PFAS in our environment is significant. The feature film DARK WATERS by Todd Haynes tells the true story of a lawyer who jeopardizes his career when he takes on the DuPont chemicals group in the United States, which at the time was discharging similar substances into watercourses. After the film, experts will explain the Dutch situation and invite discussion.
This special screening is being organised by the WUR association for environmental alumni Kennisnetwerk Milieu. For more information: see Dark Waters – Movie W or the trailer. The film is in English (with Dutch subtitles). The reflection and discussion will be in English.
