Rafael Oliveira is an ecophysiologist from the University of Campinas in Brazil and has done lots of cool stuff on water relations, hydraulics, isotopes, drought and nutrient adaptations in a wide variety of systems (rain forest, cloud forest, cerrado, restinga).
