Methodological challenges in speeding up transitions
In many programmes and projects within WUR, transitions are pivotal. In this brainstorm we discuss the desired improvements to methodologies to speed up transitions.
Examples of methodologies are scenario approaches, visualization (NL 2120), package method (CGIAR) and the Multi-Level Perspective. In this creative brainstorm session, we focus on how to integrate insights from different disciplines, what are the boundary conditions and how to involve (multiple)stakeholders like the informal sector, private sector development and consumers in (just) transitions. And how we design our policy advice integrating the uncertainty that is inherent to all transitions. And what is the role Living labs and Lighthouses can play? We’re looking for creative new ideas, concepts and unanswered questions to shape our future research programmes. Join us!
